The Power of Perspective: How to Think About Market Pullbacks
Hint: Opportunity > Fear. Also check out this week's Founders Call, where we explore 3 major pullback opportunities in depth.
Milton Friedman once noted that “inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon.”
In other words, when the supply of money increases faster than economic output, inflation follows—and asset prices, particularly those with fixed supply like Bitcoin, tend to react accordingly.

The chart above highlights Bitcoin and global M2 money supply (which tracks cash, checking deposits, and near-money assets). M2 measures economic liquidity and is a key signal for potential inflation. Historically, when M2 expands, Bitcoin follows—typically on about a 30-day lag.
Recently, M2 dipped, and Bitcoin responded with a pullback.
Now, M2 is rising again… you can see where we are going here.
This setup and current pullback in the price of Bitcoin presents long-term investors with an accumulation opportunity.
And Bitcoin isn’t the only asset where we see this dynamic at play.
Market volatility has created similar openings elsewhere. Fear-driven selloffs have pushed high-quality assets lower, even as their long-term outlook remains unchanged.
Navigating conditions like these requires stepping back and recognizing where we are in the investment cycle.
Trying to time exact tops and bottoms is impossible, but positioning correctly for long-term success is not.
The key is owning assets that can emerge stronger once the dust settles.
This is where investors often struggle.
Short-term price swings create doubt, even when the underlying thesis remains intact. The same pattern has played out before.
Investors who hesitated during past periods of volatility—whether in Tesla’s early years or the internet’s expansion—missed the explosive moves to the upside. Those who focused on long-term value creation rather than short-term noise were the ones who benefited.
Right now, Bitcoin isn’t the only asset where the market is missing the bigger picture. Two more names immediately stand out, with compelling growth stories and strong consumer data:
An industry leader redefining transportation and energy. This company has been through cycles like this before, and each time, it has emerged stronger.
A financial disruptor quietly expanding its dominance. While most focus on near-term concerns, the data reveals an accelerating trend the market hasn’t priced in.
